Meaningful inclusion through activities, outings, and lasting connections.

Everyone belongs in their community.

Our Community Participation service helps individuals with intellectual disabilities take part fully in the life of their community — through activities, outings, and friendships that grow over time.

We follow each person’s interests, whether that’s a bowling night with friends, a class, or volunteering close to home. Along the way, we build the confidence and skills that make lasting connections possible.

What participation can look like

  • 01Social and recreational outings
  • 02Volunteering and community events
  • 03Classes, clubs and hobbies
  • 04Visiting parks, libraries and local shops
  • 05Building and keeping friendships
  • 06Practicing travel and safety skills
